What BoxChef is
Cooked around you,
not around a menu.
Most meal prep gives you a list and asks you to pick. BoxChef works the other way round: you tell Pavel your requirements once, and he cooks around them from then on.
Allergies, medical conditions, foods you dislike, what you’re training for — it all goes down once. A diabetic who’s allergic to shellfish and can’t stand olives tells us at the start, and then stops thinking about it. Every meal after that is cooked individually to that person’s requirements.
That is the whole product. It is also the part that no one else in Kent is doing.

Meet Pavel
The person cooking it.
The Box Chef came to life almost by accident. While stuck at home during COVID, I wanted to do something meaningful with my time. I had always been interested in food and health, but that period gave me the opportunity to look more closely at what eating well actually means — especially for people living busy lives with very little time to cook.
I realised that I could use my experience as a chef to create something genuinely useful for others: food that is convenient, but not simply another mass-produced grab-and-go option. Food that provides real nourishment, real flavour and real value.
I always wanted the café to remain a real café, but also to become the heart of everything I do — a place where people can come in, meet me and experience the food for themselves. The same quality they enjoy in the café can then be prepared for them to take home in a box. Instead of simply filling out an impersonal form online, we can sit down and talk about what they need, what they enjoy and what they want to achieve. I know my clients personally, and their food is prepared with them in mind.
That personal connection is at the heart of The Box Chef: restaurant-quality cooking built around my Protein First philosophy, no seed oils and minimal added sugar, no preservatives. Everything is created to help people eat better without making their already busy lives more complicated — because convenient food can still be honest, personal and made with genuine care.

Specialist requirements are priced individually
These prices assume a balanced-diet meal structure. Keto, high-protein, low-fat, allergen-specific and medically prescribed nutrition take more planning and more expensive ingredients, so they are quoted individually. Tick the box in the order form and Pavel will send you a quote instead of charging you now.
